FAQ

Q1: What makes hunting flashlight H3 unique in the market?
A: H3 is the first light with a patented built-in filter design, which allows extremely easy switching of red, green, and white lighting by the unique ring. Then, no need for extra mounting of filters anymore! No worry for filter lost anymore!

There are 2 more solutions for multi-color lights in the market. One is mounting an extra filter. The other is using separate LEDs, which means either doesn’t throw as far or the LEDs are off-center.

Q2: What lighting colors does H3 have?
A:
As a colored flashlight, H3 offers 3 lighting colors - white, green, and red.

Q3: What's the use of a red flashlight during hunting?
A: White lighting is the brightest and ideal for distance measuring. However, it would be likely to spook and scare away the game to be hunted, or worse, become subject to the animal's aggressive behavior.

Instead, light towards the red end of the spectrum is naturally far less visible to most animals. Thus, red lighting would make your hunting trip more productive, especially for deer and coyotes.

Q4: Why do people use a green hunting light?
A: Similar to red lighting, some animals are not sensitive to green lighting rather than white lighting. Moreover, some animals like hogs, have a harder time seeing green light as opposed to red light. Additionally, green lighting generally offers a wider and brighter illumination compared with red lighting, which allows users to see further and clearer in dark.

Q5: Can H3 be a weapon-mounted light?
A: Yes, as a hunting light, H3 can work on the rifle with a pressure switch mount and gun mount. It can be a scope-mounted light as well with FreasyGears' optional mount.

Q6: Is the hunting flashlight H3 shock resistant?
A: H3 is specially designed for shooting and hunting. The double gold-plated springs design ensures constant reliable contact even under violent impact.

Q7: Are the green and red lens flashlight H3 rechargeable?
A: No, H3 is not rechargeable. But it comes with one 5000mAh 21700 battery with a USB TYPE-C charging port on top. You can charge the battery with the cable and a 5V adaptor.

Q8: Why cannot my hunting flashlight H3 go to the Turbo function sometimes?
A: There are 2 possible reasons.

1) Intelligent overheat protection based on time and temperature.
When the light work on the Turbo mode (1300 lumen) for 5 minutes, it will automatically switch down to 800 lumens to avoid overheating. Also, when the heat is over the safety data, the output will automatically step down to reduce heat. When the temperature is lower than the safety value, the output will gradually increase.

2) Low-voltage downshift
When the voltage is lower than 3.0V, the flashlight will automatically step down to a lower brightness level till the battery runs out to reserve more runtime.

Q9: Does the hunting light H3 have a memory function?
A: Yes, H3 has a memory function on illumination levels. It will remember the output you were using when the light was last turned off. When the light is turned on, it will go to that output directly.

NOTE: Strobe will not be memoried.
