FAQ

Q1: What is the most unique feature for K3?
A: K3 is the first light using the latest Luminus SFT-40-W-LED. Together with the premium reflector design, the long throw flashlight K3 achieves 600m beam distance, which is almost twice as much as similar-sized lights in the market. In case you need a long range weapon mounted gear for hunting, self-defense, shooting, or searching, K3 would be your best option. It also keeps the best balance between size and beam distance among our tactical series.

Q2: What's the color temperature of the K3 LED?
A: It's about 6500K.

Q3: Is K3 rechargeable?
A: No, it's not rechargeable, but it comes with a 5000mAh 21700 li-ion battery with a USB TYPE-C port on top, so you can charge the battery easily by the cable and adaptor instead of a separate charger.

Q4: What battery can K3 use?
A: K3 uses one single 21700 battery, and it is also compatible with one 18650 li-ion battery. Please take high-quality batteries from reliable manufacturers such as FreasyGears, Fenix, or Streamlight, otherwise, the flashlight or battery may be damaged by poor quality cells.

Q5: Why K3 flashlight cannot go to the Turbo function sometimes?
A: There are 2 possible reasons.

1) Intelligent overheat protection based on time and temperature.

When the light work on the Turbo mode (1600 lumens) for 1 minute, it will automatically switch down to 1200 lumens to avoid overheating. Also, when the heat is over the safety data, the output will automatically step down to reduce heat. When the temperature is lower than the safety value, the output
will gradually increase.

2) Low-voltage downshift

When the voltage is lower than 3.0V, the flashlight will automatically step down to a lower brightness level till the battery runs out to reserve more runtime.

Q6: How can I know if the battery power is low?
A: K3 has a user-friendly low-power reminder function. When the battery is low, the light will flash 3 times every 5 minutes to remind battery replacement.

Q7: How long would the battery for K3 be fully charged?
A: K3 battery can be charged by the TYPE-C cable and a 5V adaptor. The charging time depends on the adaptor current, the higher, the faster. For example, a 5V/2A adaptor takes about 3 hours for a full charge. While, for a 5V/1A adaptor, it will take about 5.5 hours.

Q8: How do I know when my cell is fully charged?
A: When the battery is in charging, the indicator on top would be red. When it is fully charged, it will turn to green.

Q9: How to get access to Strobe on K3?
A: Click the tail button to turn on the light, then press and hold the side switch button for 0.5 seconds, the light will access Strobe.

Q10: What's the use of the bezel on the head?
A: The bezel of K3 is made of zirconium, which is super sturdy and great as a window breaker in emergencies for self-defense.

Q11: What about shipping for my order?
A: We have several options of shipping way, including 1) fast courier such as DHL, UPS, FedEx; 2) more cost-effective special airline; 3) ocean shipment for big QTY.
